Aims and Objectives

“The main aim of this research project is to identify the potential impact of feedbacks on students’ performance in order to assess their performance level”.

Objectives: Objectives are in a mixed up form which will help to assist positive and negative impact of feedbacks.

• To determine impact of positive and negative feedbacks on students’ performance.
• To assess importance of feedbacks in student’s life.
• To evaluate students’ performance level.
• To measure influences of feedbacks on students’ performance.

Rationale of the study

In this project, the main focus will be on students’ performance which is influenced by feedbacks in terms of positive or negative impact. The project will help to understand importance and value of feedbacks in order to improve and develop performance of students that helps to assist better learning effectively. The main reason behind delivering feedbacks to students is to provide information regarding their own performance level which will help them to assess weak areas that required improvement and development efficiently. In addition, this will also help to improve their skills and knowledge regarding learning assessments to provide quality performance in their individual tasks.

Methodology

Research Philosophy: Research philosophy helps researcher to develop understanding over title which is ‘The influences of feedback on student work performances’. There are total four types of research philosophies but mainly, only two are considered by researchers in order to assist deriving solution. These are positivism and interpretivism effectively. Both help to analyse information regarding topic.

Research Design: It is the base for the entire research process as assist the scholar in making blueprint of information which is available with the individuals. There are different types of research design such as descriptive, analytical exploratory and cross sectional. Descriptive research will help to assist information regarding topic.

Research Approach: Research approach is a tool which helps to determine project effectiveness in terms of techniques added, information and data. It is based on two styles such as deductive and inductive effectively. Deductive approach is used in this project by researchers in order to assess behaviour of students.

Sampling: It can be said that sampling is one of the most important parts of research process that in this, researchers aim towards a group of students to conduct research information. Sampling is done in various types that is, random, Probable, non probable, cluster etc. In this, random sampling is used by researchers effectively.

Data Collection: Data collection is a major part of research that it helps to collect various information regarding topic or title. Primary and secondary are two sources of collecting information and also easy to use. Primary data collection approach is used by researchers in this project in which the information will be collected from 10 students through a questionnaire process.

Ethical consideration: Ethical rights and responsibilities should be considered by researcher in order to develop the research effectively. Ethics are the practices which aim at protecting person beliefs and values of people who are involved in research process. The permission will be taken by top management and further information regarding positive and negative impact of research will be taken care off.

Research limitation: Time and cost are the major factors of research limitations. The process including data collection and other information should be completed on time by researchers in order to finish entire work.

Importance of study

The study is important just because it will help to assist a technique from which the performance of students can be improved or developed effectively. Feedback is the technique which will be used to assess improvement in students’ performance in order to develop skills and knowledge. This will also help to introduce impact of feedback in terms of positive and negative on students and their performances. Thus, the study of potential impact of feedbacks on students’ performance in order to assess their performance level is important as well as crucial.

Literature Review

Feedback is important for student improvement.

As per Li, Bagger and Cropanzano, (2017) learning is nothing without teaching. Feedback play a important role in the improvement in performance of the student. For effective learning feedback is very crucial. Feedback helps in student to understand the subject already studied and gives them proper directions to improve the learning. In teaching behaviour feedback is more strongly and consistently related to achievement. Feedback contributes to learning and feedback contributes more to learning . Feedback includes advice originating from students on his own recent work is more likely to be given attention. Feedback helps in finding out the problems in the performance of the student. For achievement of success of the student feedback is very essential it is a muscular influence.

By taking feedbacks the performance of student improved to much better way but feedback is only beneficial if it is communicated in language that student is able to understand. Feedback gives students to develop and learn and make strategies to correct the errors. The significance of creative feedback allows students to take advantages of many optimistic opportunities. Feedback provides factors to make a positive students and have healthy relationship with teacher as per Thai, De Wever, and Valcke, (2017) . By furnishing suitable feedback, the student understand the value of him in front of the teacher, student feels truly cornered about him and on its education. By taking feedbacks. Elements of self-efficacy of student and supply an approach for motivation. By giving feedback students motivational level is also increased, they feel more motivated and improve their performance in positive way. Feedback includes two types of feedback i.e. verbal feedback and written feedback. Verbal feedback includes comments on what is done in right way. Written feedback is communicating on an duty assignment to escort students into perceptive of wrong thoughts about problem. In written feedback includes optimistic comments which highlighting the capability of the students.

How can feedback be improved.

As per the Nguyen and et.al, (2017)- The quality of Feedback can be improved by many ways. As feedback should be in positive way as it should not discourage the students, it should be motivational. When there is feedback give creative feedback to the students, the attitude and content must be in helping and supportive nature.
