Explanation of Lu Yin's Right

Lu Yin has been charged with various charges regarding credit card fraud, but the UK Law has given certain rights to the concerned victim to give explanation regarding the charges. Lu Yin has the following rights through which she can protect herself:

• She can claim that her card was stolen and some other person has misused the same and she has informed the bank regarding the stolen card.
• The details of the card was stolen when she had swapped the card at a terminal to make a commercial purchase and hence she can't be held liable for the same.

Lu Yin's Face off with police

Lu Yin shall keep her calm while talking to police as in her view she has not committed the crime and therefore she shall face the police with confidence and also show necessary evidence to them for proving her point. She should sit with her lawyer when the police would be interrogating her, this would enable her to face the police investigation effectively (Chandran, Metareward Inc and Experian Interactive Innovation Center LLC, 2014).

Justification for the advice

The given advice is the best possible for Lu Yin, considering the current situation. She is in trouble as police consider her as the main culprit for credit card fraud, but she is not liable for the same in her views and therefore it is quite crucial that she takes legal help of her lawyer, which will give her confidence to face off investigation in the most effective way possible. If she chooses to avoid police and her interview, The police might see her as doubtful and may further speed up investigation against her.

Example of Other Case

A same kind of case had taken place in 2012 in UK, in which a man was charged for credit card fraud and police initiated investigation against him, police said that he was misusing credit card of other people by making unlawful online transactions. However, such transactions was done by a group of people who were making fraudulent transactions but police was not convinced by this fact and they initiated investigation against the man, which landed him to jail for no reason, therefore it is quite crucial that, the person against whom the charges are being framed represent himself well against the investigation authorities (Chikweche and Fletcher, 2012).

Ethics basically refers to doing things or completing tasks ethically. These are the rules as well as standards that a person should follow in his personal and professional life. It basically means defending and recommending various concepts of right and wrong conduct. Especially in the field of business a person come across various situations in which he should deal ethically otherwise, the reputation of individual and the whole firm might come on to stake.

Ethical Dilemma

Basically, Ethical Dilemma is a problem of decision making that a person come across, in which he will have to choose between two moral situations. For example, a manager would face a ethical dilemma in which he might have to choose any one out of the two situations like whether to increase employees salary considering their exceptional performance in this quarter or to keep on thriving for higher profits of company and deferred the increase in salary. This is the case of ethical dilemma and the onus will be on manager to choose any one imperative out of the available two.
